Marketplace Roundup: Russian Side Zenit St. Petersburg Signs Three-Year Deal With Nissan

Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg has signed a three-year deal with Nissan, which becomes an official partner of the club. No value was announced for the agreement. As an official partner, Nissan will "provide cars to players and employees of the club and, in turn, will have brand exposure at Zenit home matches and throughout club materials" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 5/8). ... The Jordan FA has signed a three-year supply deal with adidas. Under the terms of the agreement, adidas will "supply the Jordanian national team players with official match kit and training gear" (SOCCEREX, 5/8). ... The Virgin Racing Formula E team and Arrow Electronics, Inc. announced a partnership that will see the team benefit from Arrow's expertise in automobile-related electronic componentry. The partnership saw Arrow branding appear on the Virgin Racing cars of Sam Bird and Jaime Alguersuari on the Monaco street circuit in Monte Carlo (Virgin Racing). ... The Int'l Canoe Federation announced an exclusive partnership with Swiss-based marketing and commercial rights specialists Tridem Sports. The partnership will look to increase the profile and sponsorship engagement of the Int'l Canoe Federation's top-level events, including the World Cup Series and World Championships of the two Olympic disciplines, canoe slalom and sprint (ICF).
