Champions League Semifinal Attracts Close To 13.5 Million Viewers On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded more than 13 million viewers to its broadcast of the Champions League game between Barcelona and Bayern Munich," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. A total of 13.46 million viewers tuned in to watch the game starting at 8:45pm on Wednesday. The number translated into an average market share of 43.3%. In the target demographic 14-49, Barcelona's 3-0 victory obtained a 39.7% share as 4.52 million viewers tuned in. Following the live broadcast, ZDF showed the highlights of Tuesday's semifinal between Juventus and Real Madrid. The game summary attracted 6.81 million viewers starting at 11pm (QUOTENMETER, 5/7).
