Marketplace Roundup: Puma Announces Partnership With Infiniti Red Bull Racing

Puma has announced a new long-term partnership with Infiniti Red Bull Racing. Effective from Jan. 1, Puma will become the official licensed partner and official supplier of team and racewear, outfitting the F1 team with performance racewear, footwear and teamwear. Puma will exclusively produce and distribute licensed replica, fanwear and lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories collections for global distribution (Puma). ... Three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Becker "signed a new sponsorship contract with bandage brand Magic Copper" (BILD, 4/28). ... German sportswear brand Jako has reportedly "agreed to kit supply deals with 2nd Bundesliga sides Karlsruher SC and SV Darmstadt." Starting with the '15-16 season, Jako "will replace Hummel at Karlsruhe and Nike at Darmstadt" (SPONSORs, 4/28). ... The League Managers Association announced the renewal of its commercial partnership with silversmith and luxury gift producer Thomas Lyte. The partnership will see Thomas Lyte provide hand-crafted trophies for the LMA’s showpiece end-of-season event, the LMA Annual Awards Dinner 2015 on May 26 in London at Old Billingsgate (LMA). ... Greek champions Olympiacos this week "announced a new kit deal" with adidas, set to commence with the '15-16 season. Olympiacos kits "have been produced by Puma" for more than 10 years, including the '14-15 Olympiacos kits (FOOTY HEADLINES, 4/26). ... Spanish sporting goods brand Kelme announced a five-year partnership with China Women’s Super League, to provide full support for the league. Kelme will provide specially designed uniforms for home games and away games for all the teams in the Super League and Women’s League One, integrating different regional elements into uniforms (Yutang Sports). ... Netball Singapore "signed a year-long deal with Volkswagen, making the German carmaker Netball Singapore's official car sponsor for 2015" (STRAITS TIMES, 4/28).
