League One side Colchester United extended its shirt sponsorship deal with Weston Homes. The club and Weston have been partners for the last two years. New Balance added another team to its football roster on Tuesday when it announced a deal to design jerseys and training gear for the Costa Rican men's and women's national teams. The new deal comes two months after the company "declared its intentions" to enter the football markets for the first time. New Balance signed a record deal with Liverpool, reported to be worth up to $457M, and partnerships with EPL side Stoke City, Portuguese club FC Porto, La Liga side Sevilla, the Panama national team, and a "handful of prominent players" (BOSTON GLOBE, 4/7).
