Brasileiro Side Bahia And Arena Fonte Nova Consortium Agree To Three-Year Deal

Brasileiro side Bahia "will continue playing" at Salvador's Arena Fonte Nova, according to GLOBO ESPORTE. After announcing its return to Pitaçu stadium for "not coming to an agreement" with consortium Fonte Nova Affairs & Participations (FNP), Bahia President Marcelo Sant'Ana "announced a new decision" on Thursday. Sant'Ana: "Bahia and the [Bahia] state government confirmed the renewal of the the contract between the club and the consortium for the next three years. In the contract's new model, there will be shared decisions between the club and consortium concerning ticket prices, box office operations and stadium access on game days ... This [agreement] ... seeks the best service quality offered for the fans, and progressively transforms the Arena Fonte Nova into the club's home. It's a place where we are respected, treated with dignity and also win titles." The agreement "was launched thanks to the state government" of Bahia, which "promoted a new meeting between the parties on Wednesday." Sant'Ana added that Bahia "would gain more profit from the new agreement" (GLOBO ESPORTE, 4/2).
