Havas Media Group "created the new role of global head of content" and appointed DAMIEN MARCHI from Euronews to the post. At Euronews, he "was in charge of innovation and products, overseeing the digital transformation of the newsroom." Marchi "will be based in Havas' Paris headquarters" and report directly to Havas Media Group Global Managing Dir DOMINIQUE DELPORT. He "will also work closely" with Havas Sports & Entertainment Global CEO LUCIEN BOYER and Havas Worldwide Chief Content Officer VIN FARRELL (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 3/31). ... European Union of Gymnastics (UEG) honorary member MARIE-PAULE HOFFMANN has been elected to the board of directors of the Luxemburg Olympic Sports Committee (COSL). At the same time she will assume presidency of the Athletes Commission and will be a member of the technical committee of the COSL (UEG). ... Armenia coach BERNARD CHALLANDES "stepped down in the wake of a 2-1 Euro 2016 qualifying defeat by Albania on Sunday, leaving the country without a win after four games." The Swiss "took over as Armenia head coach in February last year." Armenia is "bottom of Group I on one point" (REUTERS, 3/30).
