BRIAN SULLIVAN is to "step down" on June 24 as CEO of German pay-TV network Sky Deutschland. Sky Deutchland CO of sports, advertising and sales CARSTEN SCHMIDT will "take over as topper." Schmidt "takes on the new role" of deputy CEO "with immediate effect and will work alongside Sullivan before taking over" as CEO. Schmidt has "served on Sky Deutschland's management board" since '06, after joining the company in '99 (VARIETY, 3/26). ... English Premier League clubs voted to change the structure of the Premier League board. CLAUDIA ARNEY and KEVIN BEESTON have been appointed as the independent non-exec directors with RICHARD SCUDAMORE taking up the position of exec chairman. Arney is a non-exec director of Halfords PLC where she chairs the Remuneration Committee. She is also the senior independent director of Telecity PLC and chair of the Public Data Group. Beeston is chairman of FTSE 100 Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey plc. He is also chairman of Equiniti Group Ltd. and Domestic & General Ltd. (EPL).
