Media Notes: Clare Balding's BT Sport Chat Show Heads To BBC Two

The BBC bought the rights to show Clare Balding's BT Sport chat show on BBC Two. From next month, an edited version of The Clare Balding Show will be shown on the channel the day after it is broadcast on BT Sport 1. It is the first time the BBC has bought a complete format from BT Sport (BBC). ... Infront Sports & Media secured a comprehensive media rights agreement for the 2019 and 2021 Int'l Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine and Nordic World Ski Championships -- providing TV coverage across the German ski market on ARD and ZDF. Infront sealed the agreement as part of its role as media and marketing partner to the FIS with SportA, the sports rights agency of the two national public-service broadcasters (Infront). ... German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland "will continue to show the European Tour, including the Ryder Cup, until '18." Sky "has secured the exclusive broadcast rights to the European Tour as well as the '16 and '18 Ryder Cups in Germany and Austria" (QUOTENMETER, 3/18). ... German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF "acquired the broadcast rights for the Alpine and Nordic ski world championships in '19 and '21."
