More Than 8 Million Tune In To Watch Champions League Match On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded more than 8 million viewer for its Champions League broadcast on Wednesday night," according to Sidney Schering of QUOTENMETER. The second leg of the round of 16 matchup between Bayern Munich and Shakhtar Donetsk attracted 8.05 million viewers starting at 8:45pm. The number translated into a market share of 27%. In the target demographic 14-49, Bayern's 7-0 win obtained a 22.5% share as 2.47 million viewers tuned in. Following the live broadcast, ZDF drew market shares between 24.7% and 28.2% for its Champions League highlights show. In the target demographic, the show had market shares between 22.5%-24.5%  (QUOTENMETER, 3/12).
