Bulgarian Football Club Ludogorets Razgrad To Receive $1.06M To Modernize Stadium

Bulgarian football club Ludogorets Razgrad is to receive another €1M ($1.06M) from government to modernize the Ludogorets Arena stadium in Razgrad, according to Alexander Krassimirov of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. With this sum, the amount granted under the government program for reconstruction and modernization of the facility comes to €2.5M ($2.65M). The first €1.5M was allocated at the beginning of '14. Overall modernization of the stadium "should be completed by the end of 2015, and its estimated value" is €10M ($10.6M). Ludogorets Razgrad Owner Kiril Domuschiev "promised last year" that he would give €8M ($8.5M) and required the remaining €2M ($2.12M) from the Razgrad municipality, which owns the facility (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 3/12).
