Scottish Premiership Side Celtic Reportedly Signs Kit Deal With New Balance

Source: DAILY RECORD
Scottish Premiership side Celtic "struck a bumper new kit deal" with U.S. sports brand New Balance, according to the SCOTSMAN. The club has reportedly signed a contract that will have the Boston-based firm "replace Nike" from the start of the '15-16 season. The new deal "is believed to be the biggest kit contract" Celtic has agreed, outdoing the decade-long agreement with Nike. Nike paid Celtic £5M ($7.6M) a year to make its kits (SCOTSMAN, 3/4). The Scotland DAILY RECORD reported a new top "that is being billed as Celtic’s latest kit is doing the rounds online." Celtic "called a press conference" on Thursday to announce its "new global kit partner" (DAILY RECORD, 3/4).
