Flamengo-Botafogo Match Sparks Highest TV Ratings Of 2015

The Flamengo-Botafogo Brasileiro match celebrating Rio de Janeiro's 450th anniversary resulted in the largest audience on a Sunday this year for Brazil's network Globo, according to Duda Lopes of MAQUINA DO ESPORTE. Sunday's game had a rating of 47 with 22 points, each point representing "42.2 tuned in households in the metropolitan area of Rio de Janeiro." Globo was not the "only network to have high ratings either." Bandeirantes also had its "highest audience" of '15 (MAQUINA DO ESPORTE, 3/2).
