Manchester City Signs Youth Development Deal With San Diego-Based Surf Soccer Club

Man City announced a five-year partnership with Surf Soccer Club. The deal is the first of its kind for a Premier League club in the U.S. and will see the Manchester City FC Americas Cup hosted in San Diego in May. The tournament, aimed at 10 to 17-year-olds, will be the key activation of the partnership. As part of the agreement, Man City will deliver coaching programs to children, teaching them the same coaching methodology and principles used by Man City’s first team. In addition to the playing programs, Surf Soccer Club coaches will also benefit from the delivery of coaching workshops, as well as having the opportunity to visit and train at Man City's new HQ, City Football Academy (Man City).
