Media Notes: Bayern Munich Signs Media Cooperation With China's CCTV

Total Soccer, the most popular football program on China's national TV CCTV Sports, and Bayern Munich will work closely together in the future. Exclusive interviews and video materials will be made available to the two hour int'l football program every Monday evening by the German club (Bayern Munich). ... German pay-TV network Sky Deutschland will provide Kreisliga clubs -- clubs in the lowest tier of the German football league system -- "with a chance to play on the big stage." Under the header "Sky Spiel des Lebens" ("Sky Game of Life"), Sky "will produce a regular-season game from one of the lower-tier leagues and live broadcast it in high definition." Sky "will use the Bundesliga-free weekend of Sept. 5-6 to air the game." Clubs "can submit their applications until March 25" (QUOTENMETER, 2/16). ... A new season of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship will start this weekend and Australian fans will continue to receive comprehensive coverage on Fox Sports Australia and SBS Australia. Fox Sports will remain the only destination on Australian TV with live coverage of every WSBK round in '15, delivered in HD (WSBK). ... Indonesian Super League administators announced new TV rights holders for the upcoming season. Liga Indonesia, through BVSports, "ties a partnership with two free-to-air television, Global TV and NET, and two pay-TV channels, BigTV and Matrix Garuda, to broadcast the ISL matches." Despite a high-profile recommendation to postpone the league opening, organizers Liga Indonesia and the Indonesian Football Federation, or PSSI, "launched the new season of the Indonesian Super League in a gala dinner on Saturday night" (JAKARTA GLOBE, 2/16).
