Serie A side Torino FC has named MSC Cruises as an official club partner for the remainder of the ’15 season. As a result of the partnership, the shipping company “will work with the Turin-based side to develop a series of joint activities for the fans at the stadium, the Stadio Olimpico di Torino, and on the web” (SOCCEREX, 2/13). … National Rugby League side Penrith Panthers announced Pepper Group has taken over the naming rights of its home ground, which will be known as Pepper Stadium. Pepper replaces Sportingbet, which had the rights for the ‘14 season (Penrith Panthers). … The Int’l Cricket Council announced Mondelez Int’l in Australia and New Zealand as the official confectionery partner with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 (ICC). … Lotte Mart joined the list of Gwangju Universiade’s partners as an official supplier. Lotte Mart, one of the largest supermarket chains in South Korea, will provide snacks for the volunteers and staff during the 2015 Summer Universiade. In addition, the GUOC has been granted the rights to use the Lotte Mart name and logo (Lotte Mart). ... U.S.-based sports court manufacturer Connor Sport Court International's Sport Court brand and racquet sports company Prince Global Sports announced a multi-year business partnership designed to enhance awareness of their brands and products. The agreement will focus on marketing strategies including co-branded sponsorship of major tennis events and grassroots promotion of the sport using Sport Court modular courts and Prince products (Sport Court).
