Marketplace Roundup: Mercedes F1 Confirms New Four-Year Partnership With DB Schenker

The Mercedes F1 Team confirmed a new four-year logistics partnership with German-based global transportation and logistics provider DB Schenker. From the '15 season onward, DB Schenker will provide logistics services for all European Grands Prix, tests and promotional events, including the transportation of the team's F1 W06 Hybrid racing cars, garage equipment and motorhome (Mercedes F1). ... Teckno Developments will sponsor Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers' West Stand. A long-term partner of the club, the Beverley-based company will also sponsor the club’s academy and scholarship teams. Sports nutrition brand PhD Nutrition also announced a partnership with the club to become its official sports nutrition supplier ahead of the new Super League season. The agreement will see the Hull-based company provide the squad with sports nutrition and dietary supplements to help support the team's fitness and conditioning (Hull Kingston Rovers). ... The British Open Squash Championships is set to return to Hull for a further three years after Dr. Assem Allam signed a deal to continue as title sponsor of the tournament. The three-year agreement will keep the event in Hull until '17 (PSA World Tour). ... Tecate and Tecate Light on Saturday brought members of Liga MX side Chivas Guadalajara to L.A. to announce a "Bold Alliance" including an exclusive beer sponsorship for friendly matches to be played across the U.S., the summer preseason and several player meet and greets. As part of the "Taste of Triumph" campaign, the first Tecate sponsored match will be between Chivas and Santos Laguna in Houston on March 27 (Heineken).
