Media Notes: Getty Images Announces Partnership With Serie A Side AS Roma

Getty Images and Serie A side AS Roma announced a strategic agreement in which Getty Images will acquire global sales rights for a newly-curated collection of imagery that documents the club both on and off the field. AS Roma content will be available exclusively via Getty Images’ platform www.gettyimages.com and Getty Images will also distribute the content globally via its other distribution channels. As part of the partnership, Getty Images will distribute content from matches all over the world as well as from from exclusive, behind-the-scenes areas (AS Roma). ... Eurosport announced that it has secured a three-year agreement to be the European broadcaster of the new ATP Geneva Open. The partnership will run from '15-17. The deal includes exclusive TV and digital rights across all 54 territories covered by Eurosport in Europe (Eurosport). ... English cricketer Kevin Pietersen "will join the Test Match Special commentary team for the World Cup" and will also work for Australia’s TV satellite broadcaster Fox during the latter stages of the tournament. Pietersen "will commentate on BBC radio and Australian television from the quarter-final stage onwards" (London TELEGRAPH, 2/4).
