British Cycling Championships Names Five New Sponsors Ahead Of June Event

Organizers of the British Cycling Championships have announced a "number of new sponsors ahead of the event coming to Lincolnshire in June," according to Andy Phillips of the LINCOLNSHIRE ECHO. Accounting firm Duncan and Toplis, estate agency Pygott & Crone, construction contractor Willmott Dixon, Lincolnshire Media group and the Ellmore Consultancy will "all provide backing." Duncan and Toplis is the first sponsor to be involved. Lincolnshire, which is responsible for the Lincolnshire Echo and the Target series across Boston, Sleaford, East Lindsey and Grantham, "will also back the event" by producing its official program. Lincolnshire Publisher Steven Fletcher said, "The success of British cycling at recent Olympics Games, and international road racing events, shows there is a huge appetite for the sport." Ellmore Consultancy will run the Championships official website and social media output (LINCOLNSHIRE ECHO, 2/4).
