Marketplace Roundup: Vitality Named Wellness Partner Of English, Scottish, Welsh Rugby

Health and life insurer Vitality has been named the official wellness partner of England Rugby, Scottish Rugby and the Welsh Rugby Union ahead of the RBS 6 Nations Championship, which kicks off this weekend. Vitality branding will be present at Twickenham Stadium, BT Murrayfield and the Millennium Stadium (Vitality). ... Huawei has become the main sponsor and official partner of Norwegian football team Valerenga Fotball. The two-year partnership includes sponsorship, exclusive offers, content and brand presence during Valerenga's matches, "as well as promotion through the club's digital and social media platforms" (TELECOM PAPER, 2/3). ... The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) "has signed a new sponsorship agreement with beer brand Bergenbier." Under the deal "the brand will sponsor" the Romanian national football team until at least the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The financial terms of the agreement "remain undisclosed," but FRF President Răzvan Burleanu said in a statement that the deal is "advantageous to both parties" (SOCCEREX, 2/3). ... Disruptive SaaS-based enterprise mobility platform vendor Capriza has joined Lotus F1 Team as a technology partner (Lotus F1).
