Marketplace Roundup: Ligue 1 Side Olympique Lyonnais Signs Deal With Viagogo

Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais has "signed a deal with online secondary ticketing platform Viagogo." The deal "will see Viagogo offer tickets to all the club's home games" across its network of 55 int'l websites. Viagogo "already has partnerships in place with Paris Saint-Germain and Roland Garros in the French market" (SOCCEREX, 2/2). ... Second Bundesliga side FC Nuremberg has extended its sponsorship deal with PSD Bank Nuremberg for another three years. The partnership was set to expire at the end of the '14-15 season. The extension was brokered by Sportfive (FC Nuremberg). ... The Int'l Triathlon Union announced that sports audio producer Jabra will be a global partner of the 2015 ITU World Triathlon Series. In addition to the Chicago Grand Final and World Championships, Jabra's partnership includes series stops in Abu Dhabi, Gold Coast, London, Hamburg, Stockholm and Edmonton (ITU). ... Woolworths has signed on to be the official supermarket of the Australian Olympic Team for the 2016 Rio Games. The partnership will continue through to the end of '16 and will include a number of other events and opportunities for Woolworths and Olympic team members to work together (AOT). ... The Mercedes F1 Team and global travel lifestyle brand TUMI announced a new partnership for the 2015 F1 season onward. TUMI will provide the team exclusively with TUMI premium Tegra-Lite and Alpha 2 products (Mercedes F1).
