Caroline Wozniacki Influences Channel 7 Program To Get Women's Tennis On Screen

Caroline Wozniacki has "serious pulling power," according to Michael Chammas of the SYDNEY MORNING HERALD. The Danish tennis player "took to Twitter to complain about Channel Seven's coverage of the Australian Open." She tweeted, "It would be awesome if @channel7 could show the women's matches from time to time #please". Within minutes Channel Seven "left the coverage of Australian Marinko Matosevic against Andy Murray for Maria Sharapova's match against qualifier Alexandra Panova." Channel Seven replied to Wozniacki, tweeting, "@CaroWozniacki We've jumped across now :-) You should download the @7sport app on your phone/tablet - we're LIVE streaming all courts!". The former world No.1 "was more than happy her polite request didn't go unnoticed." She tweeted, "I guess all we had to do was ask thank you @channel7 @7sport Women's tennis now on TV" (SMH, 1/21).
