FA Of Malaysia Appoints MP & Silva To Global Advisor Role For Media, Commercial Rights

MP & Silva announced its appointment by the FA of Malaysia as global advisor for all media and commercial rights for FAM competitions, with the goal of extending broadcast reach and maximizing the commercial potential of the properties. The 15-year deal begins in '16 and comprises worldwide media rights covering the competitions, including the Malaysia Super League, the Malaysia Premier League, the FA Cup, the Malaysia Cup and the Piala Sumbangsih Match. The agreement covers domestic and int'l rights, including all media platforms and devices including terrestrial free-to-air TV, satellite and cable TV, IPTV, in-flight TV, mobile Internet and video-on-demand rights. The partnership also sees the establishment of the Football Malaysia LLP between MP & Silva and the FAM. MP & Silva’s advisory role will aim to develop media distribution and commercial strategies in close collaboration with the FAM (MP & Silva).
