England U21 coach GARETH SOUTHGATE "agreed a one-year contract extension" with the FA, which will keep him in the post until the summer of '17. The 44-year-old "was appointed" in Aug. '13 to succeed STUART PEARCE (BBC, 1/15). ... U.K. independent sports TV production company Sunset+Vine appointed JOHN PERERA in a commercial consultancy capacity to drive new growth opportunities for the business. Perera, who until recently was the commercial director of the England & Wales Cricket Board, will start his role with immediate effect. He will focus on special projects (Sunset+Vine). ... Bacardi confirmed its interim CEO MIKE DOLAN -- former head of IMG -- "will continue to lead the group on a permanent basis." Dolan, who most recently served as chairman and CEO of sports, fashion and media company IMG Worldwide, was appointed interim CEO of the Bermuda-based group following the retirement of ED SHIRLEY, "who left Bacardi after just two years as its head" (THE SPIRITS BUSINESS, 1/14).
