Marketplace Roundup: Ford Renews With TalkSPORT's Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show

Ford has renewed its sponsorship of the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT for a 12th consecutive year. This makes the deal the longest running sponsorship on any national commercial radio station in the U.K. Ford's sponsorship runs across all of talkSPORT's platforms, including print, online, digital and on-air (talkSPORT). ... Danish investment bank Saxo Bank announced its continued support and sponsorship of Danish GP2 driver Marco Sørensen. Saxo Bank has sponsored Sørensen since '14 and has pledged its support until at least the end of '15 (Saxo Bank). ... League One side Sheffield United and Levy Restaurants UK, the sports, leisure and hospitality sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland, have signed a five-year extension to their catering partnership. Lime Venue Portfolio has been part of the partnership agreement and will continue to manage sales and marketing activity for non-matchday conferences, meetings and events at the stadium (Levy Restaurants UK).

HAVING A BALL: The Woolworths Australian ballkid program was officially launched at Melbourne Park, as the 380+ Australian Open 2015 squad gathered for the traditional team photograph. Tennis Australia and Woolworths will work together, aiming to give as many Australian kids as possible a ballkids experience, enhance the profile of the program nationally and increase ballkid registrations for events throughout Australia including the Australian Open, Australian Open Series and Pro Tour (Australian Open). ... Puma "extended its partnership" with the Ghana FA. Puma "will continue as the technical supplier and official partner to the GFA for a further long term, during which Puma will continue to supply playing kits, training apparel and equipment to all associated Ghana national football teams" (GHANA WEB, 1/14). ... The German Hockey Federation (DEB) has extended its deal with Schanner as the official supplier of the federation's referees. The deal includes the referees' on-ice and off-ice outfits (DEB).
