CaixaBank Signs Two-Year Deal As Top Sponsor Of Spanish Basketball League's Copa Del Rey

The Spanish Basketball League (ACB) and CaixaBank reached an agreement in which the bank becomes the principal sponsor of the next two editions of the ACB's Copa del Rey, which will take place from Feb. 19-22 this year in Gran Canaria and in A Coruña, Galicia in Feb. '16, according to LIBRE MERCADO. The deal was signed by ACB Exec President Francisco Roca and CaixaBank CEO Gonzalo Gortázar. As the Copa del Rey's principal sponsor, CaixaBank's image "will be incorporated into the event's official logo." CaixaBank will have an "advertising presence on the court and in TV broadcasts and will invest in the promotion of the event," while participating in joint community events in Gran Canaria and Galicia "in support of people fighting disability" (LIBRE MERCADO, 1/7).
