Queens Park Rangers Finance Dir REBECCA CAPLEHORN "is to leave the club after being appointed head of football operations at Tottenham." Caplehorn, who has been at Loftus Road for five years since '09, "is set to become a prominent figure at Tottenham" after being headhunted by Chair DANIEL LEVY. Caplehorn graduated from Loughborough University and began her finance career in the health service "and has also worked with The Lawn Tennis Association" (London DAILY MAIL, 12/30).

COACHES/MANAGERS: ALAN IRVINE has been sacked as EPL side West Brom manager "after seven months in charge." Irvine "was appointed boss in June." West Brom travels to West Ham on New Year's Day with ROB KELLY, assisted by fellow assistant head coach KEITH DOWNING, in caretaker charge. The Midlands club said that it expects "to be able to name Irvine's successor by the weekend" (BBC, 12/30).
