Marketplace Roundup: Swiss Ice Hockey Federation Signs Deal With SAP Switzerland

SAP Switzerland has teamed up with the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation for the '14-15 season. As an official sponsor of the federation, SAP Switzerland will be featured on boards and on the ice during several national team games. In addition, the software company will support the SIHF in the area of analytics (SIHF). ... Brasileiro side Grêmio signed "a sponsorship deal with Gatorade." The drinks brand's logo "will appear on the front" of the club's training kit during preseason training for its '15 campaign. The financial terms of the Gatorade deal "were not released" (SOCCEREX, 12/15). ... Audi South Africa announced a partnership with Cricket South Africa which will see the brand become its official vehicle partner. Audi will gain branding exposure both in-stadia and on TV. Fans at home and at the stadium will get insight into player performance via the Audi Performance Tracker, and will be able to keep track of the speed of every ball with the Audi Speedgun (Audi). ... Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels announced that Musashi has signed on as the club’s official supplement supplier for the 2015 Super Rugby season. The Musashi logo will feature on the collar of the Rebels’ home and alternate jerseys, as well as on the collar of the coaches' polo, worn by head coach Tony McGahan and his team (Melbourne Rebels). ... Australian Football League side Collingwood entered into a partnership with United Petroleum, which will see the company become a major partner of the club and its new match-day ball sponsor for the next three seasons. United Petroleum branding will feature on all match balls used during Collingwood home games from the '15 season onward, while signage will feature prominently when the club stages matches at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (Collingwood FC).
