Marketplace Roundup: FSV Frankfurt Extends Partnership With Werkzeugstore24

Second Bundesliga side FSV Frankfurt has extended and increased its partnership with online tool store Werkzeugstore24. The club's official premium partner will receive logo presence in camera view along with presence on the team bus and the club's official print products (FSV Frankfurt). ... Under Armour and the Spanish Basketball League (ACB) signed an agreement in which the brand becomes the official technical provider for the next two editions of the ACB's Copa del Rey. The first of those will take place from Feb. 19-22 in Gran Canaria. Under Armour has had a presence in Spanish basketball since '11, with sponsorships of players including Fernando San Emeterio, Carlos Suárez and DeShaun Thomas (ACB). ... French food company Sodebo announced it is renewing its involvement in the 2016 Vendée Globe. As a partner of the race in ’04, ’08 and ’12, this will be fourth successive edition for Sodebo as the exclusive and official sponsor of this sailing event (Sodebo).

KEEP ON RUNNING: A sponsorship contract between ING and the organizers of the annual Luxembourg City Night Marathon has been extended for five years, "ensuring the future of the event" until '20. The next ING Night Marathon "will take place on May 30" (LUXEMBURGER WORT, 12/8). ... World Snooker's European Tour series will be sponsored by Kreativ Dental. The '15-16 Kreativ Dental European Tour will comprise six events across the continent (WPBSA). ... DB Schenker and its specialist group of DB SCHENKERsportsevents entered into a two-year agreement with the Int'l Volleyball Federation (FIVB). DB Schenker was named the official logistics and freight forwarding supporter of the FIVB and will provide logistics planning, freight transportation and customs clearance, distribution operations, as well as on-site presence at major events for the FIVB (FIVB). ... AirAsia Bhd signed a one-year partnership with South Korean and former ManU football player Park Ji-sung "as its new global ambassador." As an ambassador, Park will be featured in AirAsia's upcoming global campaigns "as well as make event appearances across the region" (BERNAMA, 12/10).

AWARDS SEASON: Global football media platform 90min has announced that it is extending its partnership with the Professional Footballer’s Association Fans’ Player of the Month and Year Awards, and will act as the official media partner for the awards for the remainder of the '14-15 season. The awards, which cover both the Premier League and the Football League, are designed to give a strong voice to fans and are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs (90min). ... The Aircel Chennai Open announced that the tournament has extended its association with Bols Kyndal, a leading alcobev company in the premium spirits segment, as official partner. This will be the fourth year of the tournament’s association with the brand. Bols will continue to host the official player party of the tournament (Bols Kyndal). ... Omega announced that English golfer Charley Hull has joined its family of prominent ambassadors. Charley is Omega's youngest brand ambassador (Omega).
