U.S. Keeper Howard Welcomes Launch Of New Everton Venture To Bolster U.S. Fan Base

EPL side Everton "formed a new partnership" to bolster its growing fan base in the U.S., according to Greg O'Keeffe of the LIVERPOOL ECHO. The Blues will become the first European club to offer supporters in America exclusive access to matchday tickets, travel packages and U.S.-specific merchandise through the new website evertonusa.net -- "launched in tandem with Global Football America." U.S. men’s national team keeper Tim Howard "recorded a special message to launch the partnership, as the site went live on Tuesday." Global Football America "runs the official US Everton Supporters’ Club network, EvertonUSA, which has over 60 affiliated groups and 35,000 members" that gather in pubs and homes throughout the U.S. to support the club (LIVERPOOL ECHO, 12/9).
