Media Notes: FIBA Awards Sky Italia EuroBasket 2015 Broadcasting Rights

FIBA announced it is awarding the exclusive broadcasting rights for EuroBasket 2015 Men and Women in Italy to Sky Italia. EuroBasket 2015 will take place in France, Germany, Croatia and Latvia from Sept. 5-20. EuroBasket Women 2015 will be played in Hungary and Romania from June 11-28 (FIBA). ... Coliseum Sports Media announced on Friday that it has secured the rights to the LPGA Tour, the European Tour, the Ryder Cup, the PGA Championship, the Asian Tour and the EurAsia Cup, in addition to its PGA Tour rights which it "took away from Sky recently.” Golf fans will be able to access both services, PGA Tour live and world golf pass, for one subscription; giving them access to all these tournaments, as well as review and highlight shows, live and on-demand. Subscriptions will cost NZ$19.90 a month ($15.34) or NZ$199 for a season pass (NZ HERALD, 12/5).
