Argentine FA Receives $25.7M Funding 'Advance' From National Government

The Argentine government informed the Argentine FA on Thursday that, "as part of the annual guaranteed minimum that the AFA receives," the football body has received 220M Argentine pesos ($25.7M) as an "advance," according to CLARIN. This was done following a recent request from the AFA based on various indicators including inflation from '09-14. The sum will be allocated to the Fútbol para Todos program. So far this year, Fútbol para Todos has received 1.7B Argentine pesos ($200M) (CLARIN, 12/4).
