Marketplace Roundup: TVM Announces Partnership With Dutch Football Association

Insurance company TVM "has been unveiled as the logistics partner of the Dutch Football Association (KNVB)." The four-year deal "will run" until the next FIFA World Cup in '18. TVM, which specializes in insurance for the transportation industry, "will assist the senior team as well as all age-group men’s and women’s squads by transporting equipment and various other materials" (GOAL, 11/28). ... Ligue 1 side Evian has "agreed a unique sponsorship deal with Brake." The professional food wholesaler’s logo "will appear on Evian’s matchday socks for the Ligue 1 outfit’s game against Olympique Lyonnais at the Parc des Sports Annecy" on Friday. It "will be the first time the space has been reserved for a sponsor by a French side." The deal will be worth €7,500 ($9,352) for the game (SOCCEREX, 11/28). ... Mpumalanga Cycling announced that Pennypinchers will be the title sponsor of the 2015 SA National Road and Time Trial Championships, taking place in Mbombela from Feb. 3-8. This is the first time that the building supplies company will be supporting South Africa’s blue ribbon cycling event (Cycling SA). ... Spire Roding Hospital announced that it is the official private hospital of EPL side West Ham. The hospital will provide support throughout the club’s final season at the Boleyn Ground and the first at the new stadium on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (Spire Healthcare). ... The Int’l Sports Promotion Society and the Ladies European Tour have extended their partnership to promote golf, especially blind and disabled golf (Ladies European Tour).

NEW WHEELS: Brad Jones Racing has unveiled the Freightliner Racing VF Commodore that Fabian Coulthard will use in the 2015 V8 Supercars Championship. The Freightliner Racing naming rights sponsorship will run for at least three years (V8 Supercars). ... Tour operator MSC Cruises has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Italy’s Serie B. MSC Cruises will be a partner of the country’s second tier for the duration of the ’14-15 season, with “branding on pitchside hoardings at the home grounds of all 22 Serie B teams.” It will also run “joint initiatives with the league, and will provide clubs with the opportunity to run workshops aboard its cruise liners” (SOCCEREX, 11/28). ... French natural gas company GrDF and the French Basketball Federation (FFBB) signed a three-year partnership focused on the FFBB Citizen Program designed to promote the values of basketball: solidarity, fair play, and integration. GrDF’s role will be to work with the local authorities in their efforts to implement these ideals in more than 9,500 towns around France (FFBB).

WSS, SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA RENEW: World Series Sprintcars owner and operator Speedway Australia and hydraulic hose and fitting supply company ENZED announced that the naming rights partnership between the two will continue for the upcoming season. ENZED has been a partner of World Series Sprintcars for the past two seasons (World Series Sprintcars). … Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain and orthopedic and sports medicine hospital Aspetar announced a three-year partnership. The Qatar-based hospital becomes the club’s official medical partner through the ’16-17 season (Paris St. Germain). … Australian Football League side Collingwood announced that natural health brand Blackmores has committed to a further three years as a major partner of the club. Blackmores will also remain Collingwood’s official supplier of vitamins, sports creams and gels (Collingwood). … EPL side Leicester City announced that it renewed its strategic int’l partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand for a third season (Leicester City).
