Marketplace Roundup: FC St. Pauli Signs New Partnership With Techniker Krankenkasse

Second Bundesliga side FC St. Pauli has signed a new partnership with health insurance provider Techniker Krankenkasse to become the club's official health partner. The partnership, which will take effect on Jan. 1, will run for three-and-a-half years (St. Pauli). ... Wasserman Media Group expanded its European football practice with Dutch agency Sport-Promotion. Sport-Promotion, founded and owned by Rob Jansen, includes former players Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert and Marc Overmars as well as current players Dirk Kuyt, Leroy Fer, Daryl Janmaat, Marco van Ginkel and Daley Blind among others (Wasserman). ... Long-term sponsors Malcolm West Forklifts will appear on Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers’ shirts for the first time in '15 after the firm extended its partnership with the club. The company will appear on the chest of both the home and away shirt for next season (Hull Kingston Rovers). ... League One side Coventry City "have been left red-faced after a training shirt featuring faint branding of Leicester City's sponsor was found on sale in the club shop." The white Puma vest, on sale for £15 ($24), "has the Leicester sponsor King Power clearly visible on the front" (London TELEGRAPH, 11/14).
