STEVE LANCASTER has been named Netball New Zealand's head of high performance. Lancaster has more than 10 years' experience in senior leadership -- "both in New Zealand and internationally." Prior to his role at Rugby Canada, Lancaster spent six years as high performance leader with the Crusaders Super Rugby franchise. He was a member of the Crusaders from '96-'00. He was most recently manager of high performance with Rugby Canada (STUFF, 11/11). ... Ascenso MX side Dorados de Sinaloa named CARLOS BUSTOS its new coach. Bustos previously coached Liga MX sides Monarcas Morelia and Chivas Guadalajara (MEXSPORT, 11/11). ... Argentine second division side Colón de Santa Fe coach DIEGO OSELLA resigned from his position and President LALO VEGA accepted his resignation (DYN, 11/12). ... French Pro A basketball club ASVEL coach PIERRE VINCENT "has been relieved of his duties." Vincent is "paying for the disastrous start of the season for the Villeurbanne club, which only won two of its seven Pro A matches." ASVEL assistant coach NORDINE GHRIB will serve as interim coach until the appointment of a new coach (SPORT 24, 11/12).
