ServusTV Signs On As Main Sponsor Of Second DEL Winter Game

Austrian free-to-air TV channel ServusTV has signed on as the main sponsor of the German Hockey League (DEL) Winter Game on Jan. 10. The league's second outdoor game will feature rivals Dusseldorf EG and Cologne Sharks and will take place at the 54,500-seat Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf. The sold-out game is expected to set a new European record for a league game. The channel, which is also the DEL's official broadcast partner, is planning the biggest hockey game production in Europe. ServusTV will live broadcast for close to five hours between 2:45-7:30pm. In addition to the game, the channel will show the surrounding entertainment program, including the "Game of Legends," musical act, intermission performances and post-game fireworks. The game itself starts at 4:30pm (DEL).
