Marketplace Roundup: Wakefield Wildcats Announce Partnership With Plumbcare.com

Super League rugby side Wakefield Trinity Wildcats announced a new partnership with Plumbcare.com. As the club's principal partner, it will be featured as the main sponsor on the club's home and away shirts in addition to promotions for fans throughout the club's media platforms (Wakefield Wildcats). ... The Ivorian Football Federation has confirmed that its contract with Puma "has been extended." The deal "was extended for four more years" starting in January. Puma has been the technical supplier and official partner of the IFF since '05 "and will see the nine year alliance continue until at least 2019" (VENTURES AFRICA, 11/8). ... The Japan FA agreed to a new eight-year contract with adidas, "which will see the Japanese division of the sportswear giant kit out its national teams." The new deal will run from '15 and covers all of Japan’s national football teams, "including the men’s and women’s senior team." Japan’s women "will defend the World Cup in Canada next year" (SOCCEREX, 11/7). ... A-League side Perth Glory named Supacore its official compression partner for the '14-15 season. Supacore will provide compression gear for matches, training, recovery and rehabilitation to the players throughout the season (Perth Glory).
