BeIN Sports To End Blackout, Air All 3pm EPL Games Starting Saturday

After months of a "sustained blackout for all but one" of the 3pm games in the Premier League, beIN Sports has "announced that it will be showing all of Saturday afternoon games" from this weekend onward, according to Neil Halligan of ARABIAN BUSINESS. Fans across the Middle East and North Africa region were "left frustrated at the blackout imposed by the Qatar-based broadcaster as part of a crackdown on pirated broadcasts overseas." The network, which has sole rights to broadcast EPL games in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has "continually advertised on its website that all games would be shown live and exclusive" (ARABIAN BUSINESS, 11/6).
