Close To 900K Viewers Watch Sky's Broadcast Of Tuesday's Champions League Games

German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland "has recorded satisfying ratings for its broadcast of Tuesday's Champions League games," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. Sky's simulcast of all seven games, which included the matchup between Borussia Dortmund and Galatasaray Istanbul, attracted an average of 870,000 viewers. The number translated into a market share of 3%. In the target demographic 14-49, Sky obtained a market share of 4.4% while 490,000 viewers tuned in. The game between Bayer Leverkusen and Zenit St. Petersburg, which started at 6pm, was watched by 230,000 viewers and recorded market shares of 1% (QUOTENMETER, 11/5).

IN SPAIN: The EP reported nearly 6.5 million people watched Real Madrid beat Liverpool 1-0 on La 1's broadcast of Tuesday's Champions League game. The number translated to a market share of 33%. It was the most-watched Champions League game of the season in Spain (EP, 11/5).
