Marketplace Roundup: British Judo Announces New Sponsorship With UFC

British Judo on Monday named UFC title sponsor of the 2015 British Open Judo Championships as part of a new partnership. The sponsorship deal will also see UFC take advertising on the British Judo website and social media platforms as well as other advertising opportunities as it looks to promote the sport (British Judo). ... Super League rugby side Huddersfield Giants has re-signed with kit manufacturer Kooga the rights to supply all Giants playing kit, replicas and training wear for a further three seasons. The Manchester-based company has supplied the club for the last seven years and the deal represents a record level of investment into the Giants. It comes on the back of Huddersfield's best retail performance in the Super League era (Huddersfield Giants). ... Thailand-based sports apparel maker FBT will be the official games uniform partner for the 28th Southeast Asian Games in June. The apparel will be worn by volunteers, workforce and officials during the event. More than 70,000 pieces of garment worth more than S$1.5M ($1.2M) will include polo shirts, jackets, track pants, and vests for SEA Games employees (SEA Games).
