Chivas Fans Who Attended Recent Match To Receive Free Admission To Next Home Game

Liga MX side Chivas Guadalajara fans who attended the team's game against Tijuana on Sunday "will be able to attend the club's next home game for free thanks to a promotion" led by Chivas execs, according to LA AFICION. After Chivas tied Tijuana 3-3, the fans who were in attendance will be able to attend the next home game -- on Nov. 9 against UANL Tigres. Chivas Sporting President Néstor de la Torre said last week, "It is a compromise of the entire institution. We have said we want to be together, and only together will we leave behind the problems Guadalajara is facing. ... Chivas' most important asset is its fan base. ... So we wanted to let them know that if we do not win, with this ticket they will be able to attend the Tigres game" (LA AFICION, 10/26).
