Marketplace Roundup: 1st Round Athletics Partners With Formula E Championship

Sports clothing specialist 1st Round Athletics is to become the official apparel supplier to the FIA Formula E Championship. In addition to outfitting all of the Formula E personnel, the U.S.-based company will also supply the official Formula E clothing merchandise, which will be on sale to fans at all race events, as well as online and at selected retail outlets in the future (Formula E). ... Bundesliga club FSV Mainz presented its new Chinese partner for the first time during Saturday's match against Augsburg. Tire manufacturer Linglong received ad presence on LED boards in camera view. The partnership has an initial length of one year (FSV Mainz). ... Ligue 1 side Metz President Bernard Serin introduced two new club partners on Saturday. French telecom Orange and French real estate company Blue Habitat have joined the Metz family of sponsors, with Orange as a major partner for four years and Blue Habitat as principal partner for one year (FC Metz). ... A-League side Brisbane Roar and Lion brewery announced a sponsorship deal for the next three seasons. As part of the deal, the Hahn SuperDry brand will now be leveraged throughout Suncorp Stadium and Caxton Street for Brisbane Roar match days as well as on the front of players’ shorts on the home and away Umbro kits (Brisbane Roar). ... A-League side Melbourne Victory announced that OfficeMax Australia has joined the team for the '14-15 season as a partner (Melbourne Victory). ... England Rugby League appointed sports nutrition brand USN as the official sports supplement partner of the national team. USN will provide England with sports nutrition and bodybuilding products during the 2014 Four Nations and all int'l fixtures and training camps to the end of '16 (England Rugby League). ... The Australian men's national field hockey team will continue to be supported by Fortescue Metals Group after the Western Australia-based company extended its relationship with the team for another two years. The agreement, which will run until '16, will see Fortescue continue to be the team’s major sponsor. It extends the company’s relationship to run alongside its partnership with Hockey Australia on the National Indigenous Program (Hockey Australia).
