The Lancashire Cricket Board signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Barbados Cricket Association on Wednesday. In '15, the sixth year of the partnership, two U20 "First Class Players" from Barbados will come to England via the Lord Gavron Scholarship Programme to play and experience club cricket and cricket development in the U.K. (Lancashire Cricket). ... The working committee meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India will take place in Chennai on Friday to discuss "deferring the AGM and a longer tenure for Team Director Ravi Shastri, who in all likelihood would be requested to guide India till next year’s World Cup" (PTI, 9/25). ... Saudi Arabia "has become the latest country to chip in" to the World Anti-Doping Agency's embryonic fund for new anti-doping research, donating $100,000 as the first installment of an eventual $500,000 contribution. Adding in the full $500,000, the move takes to $7.75M the aggregate sum now committed by four countries -- China, the U.S. and Turkey being the other three (INSIDE THE GAMES, 9/24).
