Provident Personal Credit gave Super League rugby side Bradford Bulls a "major boost" after "extending their sponsorship" until '17 despite the club's relegation from Super League, according to Ross Heppenstall of the Bradford TELEGRAPH & ARGUS. In Sept. '12, the finance firm agreed to a four-year, £1.2M deal with the Bulls, "which was hailed the biggest in Super League history." That was set to run until 16 "but it is understood that, in light of the club dropping into the Championship, a new deal has been agreed on fresh terms." The original agreement saw Provident's name emblazoned on the team's kit and Odsal renamed the Provident Stadium. That "will continue" (TELEGRAPH & ARGUS, 9/12). Heppenstall reported in a separate piece the "all-new Bulls 2015 home shirt was unveiled at 'An Evening with the Bulls'" on Thursday night and is based on the design of the '94-95 jersey. The jersey features the club's traditional red, amber and black colors "in the form of a 'V.'" Provident "takes centre stage, in addition to new sponsors Smarta Environment, and on the rear Coral Windows and Centurion" (TELEGRAPH & ARGUS, 9/12).
