The Whistle Sports Network "is opening its first international location in London with the intention to bolster programming that features European leagues and athletes." Leading the new team is Europe, Middle East and Africa Senior VP of Content Partnerships & Distribution Jeff Nathenson. Content produced by the London office "will be available across all of Whistle Sport’s digital platforms, including the web, mobile apps and the Xbox app." It "will include original, behind-the-scenes, and cross-channel programming" (STREAM DAILY, 9/4). ... France’s main commercial channel TF1 decided that it "would not be renewing" Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger's contract as a match commentator.
