Swiss Sports Rights Marketing Agency Infront Sports & Media Seeks 'Fresh Money'

Switzerland-based sports rights marketing agency Infront "is looking for a new owner after three years," according to REUTERS. In an email to "important" customers, Infront President & CEO Philippe Blatter said that the company "needs fresh money for its expansion strategy and new investors." Together with Infront's management, financial investor Bridgepoint has started with the evaluation of possibilities "to find the suitable support for the next growth phase." The email continued, saying that a "considerable number" of possible investors have already announced interest. Blatter added that he "will continue to lead" the company after a "change in ownership." Bridgepoint bought Infront "almost exactly three years ago" for an estimated price of €550M (REUTERS, 9/4).
