Marketplace Roundup: Audi Sport ABT Formula E Team Signs Deals With Three Brands

Formula E team Audi Sport ABT has reached agreements with Deutsche Post, DHL eCommerce and the Warsteiner Brewery to support the only German team in the series. All three brands will be featured prominently on the team's two cars (Audi Sport ABT Formula E Team). ... Second Bundesliga club SC Paderborn has signed a new partnership with online sports betting provider SuperLenny.com. The company will receive ad space in camera view at Paderborn home games (SC Paderborn). ... The European Handball Federation announced that Play for Change, a charitable foundation set up to enhance the lives of children and young people around the world by providing access to sports and education, will be present on the shirts of top referees in the upcoming season. The charity will see its logo presented in three positions on the shirts of all of the EHF’s 142 top referee pairs in more than 1,500 national and club team matches throughout the season (EHF).

NEW SET OF WHEELS: Mazda reaffirmed its sponsorship of Pro12 side Connacht Rugby. Mazda recruited Mils Muliaina as its official Mazda ambassador for the '14-15 season. As car sponsor, Mazda is also providing a fleet of more than 55 Mazda cars to the Connacht Rugby team (Connacht Rugby). ... The Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) renewed its collaborative agreement with Barcelona to promote Catalonia as a tourist destination through '16 (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 9/4). ... Argentine first division side Independiente agreed to a one-year sponsorship deal with Banco Ciudad of Buenos Aires. The bank's name and logo will be featured on the back of the Independiente shirt, above the jersey number (MINUTO UNO, 9/3). ... Hisense Australia announced it will continue as naming rights sponsor for Hisense Arena for an additional three years. Hisense Australia has also signed an agreement with Tennis Australia to extend its sponsorship of the Australian Open as official TV and refrigeration supplier until '17 (Hisense Australia).
