Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund has agreed to extend the contract of CEO HANS-JOACHIM WATZKE until Dec. 31, 2019. Watzke’s current contract was due to expire on Dec. 31, 2016. Watzke will continue to maintain overall responsibility for the strategic development of the parent company as well as the sporting, communication and sponsorship areas of the club (Borussia Dortmund). ... JudoScotland VP RICK KENNEY was re-elected as exec president of the Commonwealth Judo Association at the recent CJA Congress held in Glasgow. Kenny said that he intends to continue to work to make judo a permanent sport in future Commonwealth Games (British Judo). ... K-League side Gyeongnam FC coach LEE CHA-MAN "has resigned," saying that "he is accountable for the team’s poor performance throughout the season." Lee announced his resignation Sunday (KOREA JOONGANG DAILY, 8/12).
