Euroleague Basketball announced that EA7 Emporio Armani Milan President LIVIO PROLI is its CEO of the year for the '13-14 season. The award was voted on by his peers. EA7 Milan was awarded a Euroleague A-license and twice represented Euroleague Basketball by hosting exhibitions in the NBA Global Games (Euroleague). ... The NBA Sacramento Kings have signed SIM BHULLAR to a summer league contract, making him the first player of Indian-origin to play in the NBA (IANS, 7/8). ... CORINNA, wife of former F1 driver MICHAEL SCHUMACHER, said that her husband's health "is making slow but good progress." It was her "first public appearance" since Schumahcer's skiing accident last December (IANS, 7/8). ... Spanish Basketball League (ACB) side Sevilla coach AÍTO GARCÍA RENESES announced in a statement that he is leaving the club. García Reneses coached the team for the last two seasons (EFE, 7/8). ... GP2 driver NATHANAËL BERTHON has been confirmed as one of the drivers in Caterham F1 Team's new driver development program. Berthon already has F1 experience, having driven in the '11 young driver test at Abu Dhabi for HRT. Since '12 he has been competing in GP2, winning the GP2 sprint race in Hungary in '13 when he was with Trident Racing, and currently competing in the '14 season with Venezuela GP Lazarus (Caterham F1).
