English Premier League Side Sunderland Signs New Six-Year Kit Deal With Adidas

EPL side Sunderland signed a new six-year kit deal with adidas -- and it now wants "to develop the club’s image globally," according to Mark Douglas of CHRONICLE LIVE. Sunderland has negotiated the longest deal in the club’s history with adidas -- and has "hailed the deal as important" for growing its brand. Sunderland CEO Margaret Byrne said, "We are looking forward to developing the growing interest in Sunderland AFC, both domestically and internationally with adidas, a brand leader in world football" (CHRONICLE LIVE, 6/26).
