RASOUL KHATIBI was named as the head coach of Iran's Tractor Sazi of Tabriz football club "with an undisclosed three-year contract." Romanian Rugby Federation President ALIN PETRACHE "was elected Thursday to the position president of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee." Petrache won the COSR oresidency for a two-year term and is to replace OCTAVIAN MORARIU. Pretrache "garnered 143 votes out of 202 valid ballots" (XINHUA, 5/29).
